As you may know, and if not we will tell you now, we have a history in bamboo clothing, including bamboo socks. If you walk on bamboo socks for years, you have been pretty spoiled. Because honestly, bamboo socks are really much better compared to many other socks. Because otherwise we would have taken off our socks immediately, it’s that simple.
Bamboo socks? No, choose Mellowood®
So when we started developing our Mellowood® socks, we had a very good frame of reference. Because as you probably understand, our goal was to make it that much better. Another improvement, better than bamboo socks. So the bar was quite high, bt we like that. Especially if it improves the final product. And if we succeed of course.
All the qualities you want with socks
And we succeeded! Of course that is not an accident, because as you know, Undiemeister® uses Mellowood®. This is a substance with extraordinary properties. That is absolutely necessary, if you want to beat bamboo socks. The moisture absorption, very important for socks, is at least at the level of bamboo. This also applies to the ventilating quality, the hypoallergenic properties and the temperature regulation. Where Mellowood® is clearly better than bamboo socks is the color fastness of the fabric. Furthermore, Mellowood® socks pills much less than bamboo socks.
Strong
Depending on the type of bamboo socks you may have, the Mellowood® socks are also stronger. This is because we have used Mellowood® in a special blend with other fabrics that is best suited for socks. This results in socks that are nice and soft around your feet, yet strong enough to last.
