Since 2009, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (known as the 'Kamer van Koophandel' or 'KvK' in Ducth) has been organising the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award of the year. In this context, an expert jury selects the top 100 most innovative companies in the Netherlands every year.
The finalists of the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award 2020
On Thursday, 26 November 2020, the Chamber of Commerce announced the names of the companies that have conquered a place in the 15th edition of the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100. And indeed, Undiemeister®️ is in the top 100 in the Netherlands!
The Chamber of Commerce states on its website that a panel of innovation experts made a selection from nearly 400 submissions, who all wanted a place on the list of the annual Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100. Only 25% of all applications made this selection. The experts assessed all nominations on impact for the industry and society, originality, availability, and generated turnover and growth potential.
Innovation creates growth
On its website, the Chamber of Commerce further states regarding innovation: “Innovation creates growth. Recent research conducted by the Chamber of Commerce among the entrepreneurs from 14 editions of the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100 shows that for more than three-quarters of the entrepreneurs, the innovation proposed at the time is still part of the business strategy.
Three-quarters of the entrepreneurs also indicate that innovation has increased their competitive position and that turnover has increased. This is the case for 72%. Profits and productivity increase at 57%. At just over half the number of employees has increased and exports have increased ”.

The 9-member jury is chaired by Ruud Koornstra, and will announce the exact listing of each company in the Chamber of Commerce Innovation Top 100 on 21 January 2021, during an exciting countdown.
