Volcano Ash

Black is not as much present in nature as most other colours, but volcanoes offer a wealth of choice. And because volcanoes and eruptions differ, the ash spewed by volcanoes during an eruption is far from the same everywhere. One shade of black can be completely different from the other. In our opinion, the most beautiful blacks are at the foot of a Volcano in Iceland, our inspiration for Volcano Ash.

Charcoal Rock

Charcoal is produced after burning, for example after lightning strikes in the forest and only a limited amount of oxygen is present. The juices evaporate, and pure carbon remains. Charcoal has a purifying effect on the skin and is often used for artistic purposes. Our artistic application is our beautiful colour Anthracite.
