For two years, Undiemeister® has been giving underwear and socks to the homeless, who really need it. And to make a statement about Black Friday, when consuming and buying as much as possible is the main objective. Buying for the sake of buying. Buying stuff that sometimes isn't necessary at all. While at the same time, others have nothing and cannot participate in this consumer fest, despite being the ones who need these things the most.
And more people think the same way. So it's no wonder that the phenomenon of “Giving Tuesday” is becoming more popular, 4 days after Black Friday, on Tuesday 29 November. And Undiemeister® is more than happy to participate. Where we focus on giving, rather than taking. So we start promoting Giving Tuesday well before Black Friday. We give Black Friday a miss, we skip it. What about on Black Friday itself? On Black Friday we only talk about Giving Tuesday.
Giving instead of taking. Something small or something big. Or helping someone who needs it. Anyone can do something for someone else. That is how you can put your best foot forward.
