Did you know that we at Undiemeister® were the first to bring bamboo underwear to the Netherlands? That was in 2011, so we know everything about bamboo, such as bamboo underpants, T-shirts and socks. Bamboo has many good qualities, but also disadvantages. Quite a few, actually. We have sold a lot of bamboo men's underwear in recent years, so we know what we are talking about. The pros and cons of bamboo fabric

Bamboo fabric has many positive properties. The fabric is soft, ventilates well and is hypoallergenic. But unfortunately those advantages with bamboo boxer shorts also come with disadvantages. Bamboo tends to pill, you know, those tiny balls of fabric on your bamboo T-shirt. In addition, bamboo men's underwear is not very colourfast. That means that the colours will soon fade after washing your bamboo underwear a few times. Not ideal. In addition, underwear made of bamboo shrinks more than cotton does, for example. But there’s more.

Bamboo underwear is not produced sustainably

We compared countless styles and brands of men's underwear. What did we like, what could be improved? We have studied all the details, here are a few examples on how to create the best boxer shorts. The seams on the buttocks, for example. They can be quite annoying when you feel them, especially if you spend most of the day at your desk. That is why the boxer shorts by Undiemeister® are seamless at the back. Another detail is the inside of the waistband. The inside? Yes, because the waistband ensures that your boxer shorts stay in place. So it's a little tighter. That is why, in order to achieve the best boxer shorts, we have finished the inside with “brushed” fabric. Super soft, all day long. So if you are going to buy boxer shorts, pay attention to that.
