Undiemeister consciously chooses materials that outperform traditional alternatives such as conventional cotton or synthetic blends. In doing so, we consider not only comfort and appearance, but above all origin, longevity and environmental impact. Depending on the product and time of use, we select the most suitable fabric, with fibers such as TENCEL™ Modal, TENCEL™ Lyocell, ECOCELL™ Lyocell and recycled polyester playing a central role. This creates an optimal balance between sustainability, functionality and wearing comfort for each product category.

For our underwear, Mellowood forms the heart of the collection. Developed by Undiemeister, this exclusive fabric consists of 68% TENCEL™ Modal, 28% organic cotton and 4% elastane. The combination creates an exceptionally soft, breathable and strong fabric suitable for intensive daily use. Thanks to the natural origin of TENCEL™ Modal and the use of organic cotton, the environmental impact is significantly reduced, without compromising on comfort or longevity.

TENCEL™ Modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell are produced from wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. A closed-loop system is used during the production process, in which water and solvents are largely reused. This results in significantly lower water consumption and emissions than traditional cotton production. Not only do these fibers feel silky smooth, they are also strong, dimensionally stable and biodegradable.
