Innovative materials as our foundation

Undiemeister deliberately chooses materials that outperform traditional alternatives such as conventional cotton or synthetic blends. We look beyond comfort and appearance, focusing instead on origin, longevity and environmental impact. Depending on the product and its intended use, we select the most suitable fabric, with fibres such as TENCEL™ Modal, TENCEL™ Lyocell, ECOCELL™ Lyocell and recycled polyester playing a central role. This approach creates the optimal balance between sustainability, functionality and wearing comfort for each product category.

Mellowood: the sustainable core of our underwear

For our underwear, Mellowood forms the heart of the collection. This exclusive fabric was developed by Undiemeister and consists of 68% TENCEL™ Modal, 28% organic cotton and 4% elastane. The combination results in an exceptionally soft, breathable and durable fabric suitable for intensive daily wear. Thanks to the natural origin of TENCEL™ Modal and the use of organic cotton, environmental impact is significantly reduced without compromising comfort or longevity.

TENCEL™ fibres: sustainable by nature

TENCEL™ Modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell are produced from wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. During production, a closed-loop system is used in which water and solvents are largely recovered and reused. This results in significantly lower water consumption and fewer emissions compared to traditional cotton production. These fibres are not only silky soft to the touch, but also strong, shape-retaining and biodegradable, making TENCEL™ a natural choice within Undiemeister’s premium essentials.

Sustainability by product line

Not every product calls for the same fabric. That’s why Undiemeister adapts material choices per category. Our women’s collection is made from a refined blend of TENCEL™ Modal, COOLMAX® and elastane, providing optimal moisture management and a light, breathable feel. Socks are composed of a mix of TENCEL™ Modal, polyamide and elastane for added durability and long-lasting comfort. For upper garments, such as polos and casual T-shirts, we use combinations of ECOCELL™ Lyocell or TENCEL™ Lyocell with organic cotton. Our swim shorts are made from 100% recycled polyester, giving existing materials a new life.

Responsible production with an eye on the future

Undiemeister aims to keep the impact of its production process as small as possible. This means making conscious material choices, using efficient production methods and paying close attention to transport and packaging. Wherever possible, we reduce emissions and waste and choose solutions that contribute to a longer product lifespan.
