That had to change. Undiemeister started with a simple mission: to make underwear that’s simply right. In comfort, in style and in sustainability. And above all: in how it feels to wear. No mass production. No noise. Just smart choices, carefully executed.

How it started

We started small. Two men, one idea. With a background in textiles and an obsession with quality, we decided in 2019 to make what we couldn’t find anywhere: underwear that fits like a glove, lasts for years and looks good.

We quickly discovered we weren’t the only ones looking for that.

The name Undiemeister wasn’t a coincidence. It’s a wink, but also a statement. ‘Undies’ – the American word for underwear – combined with ‘Meister’, the German word for ‘master’.
Not because we know everything. But because we strive for the highest achievable standard every day. In material choice, fit, production and sustainability. Always a little better. Always masterful.

Undiemeister became a brand people don’t just put on, but also trust.

From men to everyone

In the first years, we focused exclusively on men’s underwear. Boxer briefs, undershirts, socks. Everything designed with the same obsession for detail and wearing comfort. And with success. Our community grew. Customers came back. And with them came one question, again and again:

"When will there be something for women?"

The answer took a little time. Not because we didn’t want to. But because we wanted to do it properly. Just as well as what we’d been making for men for years.

In September 2025 we took the next step: the launch of our very first women’s collection. A carefully curated line of underwear and tops, made from an innovative blend of TENCEL™ Modal, Coolmax and elastane, soft on the skin, kind to the planet and designed with the exact same attention and conviction you’re used to from us.

Not just an expansion. An evolution of our philosophy: quality is universal. And every body deserves the best.

The first step of our journey

Bamboo underwear was the first step on our journey and a solid step forward compared to cotton. In both sustainability and quality. Through different companies, we convinced consumers to make a different choice. That was a very educational period. But it can be better… and it must be better.

If it can be better, you do it

The journey is never finished. ‘Good’ is not good enough for us. So if we can take a major step forward in premium quality and sustainability, then of course we do. You join forces and move forward together across different companies. Mellowood was the first major leap. Honestly, the finest fabric we’ve ever seen. And felt. Truly The Next Step. So who is Undiemeister?

Undiemeister is the result of a pioneering collaboration between two innovators from the underwear world: Rik Vegter and Jeroen Adriaans. Both earned their stripes in the bamboo underwear segment.

  • Rik Vegter has been active in bamboo underwear since 2011 and helped shape the first generations of sustainable basics.
  • Jeroen Adriaans founded Bamigo and grew the brand into an international multi-million business.

Yet they felt it could be better. More sustainable. More comfortable. And so Mellowood was born: the patented fabric that forms the foundation of Undiemeister’s products. A smart blend of 68% TENCEL™ Modal, 28% organic cotton and 4% elastane, produced as carbon-neutral as possible.

Undiemeister is not a copy. It is a next step. A stylish brand for men who choose quality with a mission.

At Undiemeister we work with a compact, dedicated team. Each member brings their own expertise, but with one common denominator: everything must be right. From fabric to customer contact. From design to dispatch.

Cynthia – The force behind the collection

Cynthia is the driving force behind the range. Every garment you wear is designed by her. With an eye for detail, fit and a strong focus on quality and sustainability. Nothing leaves our studio without her approval.

Remko – Our SEA specialist

Remko makes sure you can find Undiemeister. He is the expert behind our online campaigns and SEA strategies, and together with Jeroen he drives our visibility on Google. Always with one goal: inspiring you at the right moment to choose better underwear.

Leen – Visual Meister

All visual work from Undiemeister carries Leen’s signature. Whether you see us in a magazine, an online banner or even on TV: Leen has made his contribution. Stylish, recognisable and always on brand.

Why the German phrase “Ich bin Undiemeister”?

Because we’re a Dutch company! The reason we use German is that we searched long and hard for what you might call a “pay-off” that truly captures our brand. And then it made sense to turn it into a short German phrase. It also stands out, because many people will think, “huh?”. Maybe you did too! And lastly: it’s nice and short, so it fits almost anywhere. Besides, you’re either a Meister or you’re not — and that goes beyond borders!
