Undiemeister nominated for the KvK innovation award 2020!

Since 2009, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (better known as the KvK) has organized the KVK Innovation Award of the Year. In that context, each year an expert jury chooses the top 100 most innovative companies in the Netherlands.

The finalists of the KVK Innovation Award 2020

On Thursday, November 26, 2020, KvK announced the names of the companies that won a place in the 15th edition of the KvK Innovation Top 100, and indeed, Undiemeister is in the top 100 in the Netherlands!

The KvK reports on its website that a panel of innovation experts made the selection from nearly 400 submissions that wanted to be considered for a listing in the annual KvK Innovation Top 100. Only 25% of all entries made it to this selection. The experts judged all nominations on impact for the industry and society, originality, availability and realized sales and growth potential.

Innovation ensures growth

About innovation, the Chamber of Commerce goes on to say on its website: "Innovation ensures growth. Recent research conducted by the KVK among entrepreneurs from 14 editions of the KVK Innovation Top 100 shows that for more than three-quarters of the entrepreneurs, the innovation proposed at the time is still part of the business strategy.

Three-quarters of the entrepreneurs also indicate that the innovation has increased the competitive position and that turnover has increased. This is the case at 72%. Profits and productivity are increasing at 57%. At just over half, the number of employees has increased and exports have increased."

Undiemeister has a carbon-neutral fabric called Mellowood

The 9-member jury is chaired by Ruud Koornstra, and will announce the exact ranking of each company in the KVK Innovation Top 100 on January 21, 2021, during an exciting countdown.

Undiemeister is extremely happy with this recognition and especially proud to be one of the few textile companies to have secured a place in the top 100, among many entries from the ICT, food & agro and creative industries.
