Long white T-shirts or a really short T-shirts?
Why would you want long white T-shirts? And we're not referring to the colour, but to the length. Let's reverse the question. A short white T-shirt, would that be your kind of thing? When we ask the ladies, the answer is clear. Many ladies don't want a long white shirt, but a short one. If our memory serves us right, this was called a crop top. Or perhaps it's still called that. Apparently it is (or was) sexy or trendy. And perhaps very comfortable in warm weather, who knows.
But gentlemen, would that look sexy on us? So no long white shirt, but a really short one? We have our reservations about this. The question is whether other people are waiting to see our hairy bellies. Or a proud belly that has clearly been invested in for years, by delicious meals and the occasional beer.
But even you've invested in diet and working out to keep your belly as flat as possible. Even then, the question is whether you feel more comfortable with such a “trendy” crop top, or with a long white shirt. We think the latter.
Our extra long shirts are extra functional
Regardless of the aesthetic, on which everyone will have their own opinion because there is no accounting for taste. A long white T-shirt, and even extra long white T-shirts, are mainly bought by men because long white T-shirts are functional. Indeed, there we have one of the distinctive differences between men and women.
For men, something has to be functional in the first place. Women are often less concerned with that, something has to look good. So what is this functionality for men, when it comes to long white T-shirts? Simply put, men not only wish to show less of their bare tummy, but men also want a T-shirt that, when tucked into their trousers, stays in their trousers, such as a long white T-shirt worn as an undershirt under a shirt. Enough said.
Nothing is more annoying (well, practically nothing) than having to tuck your shirt back into your trousers all the time. Because you can't do that without tucking your shirt back in too. And that is often difficult without undoing your trousers, loosening your belt if you have one, and then getting the whole lot back in place.
