Regular Fit is not Slim Fit

Fit is a little more general than sizing. A certain fit of a garment is available in all different sizes. The fit is very important when it comes to T-shirts. But no two T-shirts are the same. How and when you wear a T-shirt, determines the fit you need.

Undershirts can have different fits. In addition to the slim fit that Undiemeister® has chosen, you can also opt for regular fit T-shirts. You don't see them as much, but still. It also depends what you're used to, but we think a T-shirt worn as an undergarment should follow the contours of the body. At least, if the fabric is suitable. Because a fabric with too little give, with too little elasticity or elasticity, is not comfortable as a slim fit T-shirt.

When do you want a regular fit T-shirt?

A regular fit, also called a casual t-shirt, has a looser and wider fit. Such a fit gives you more freedom of movement than a slim fit. Regular can also be translated as “standard”. Not tight around your body, but not a loose fit either. A loose fit is actually larger than what you would normally wear. It's a little baggier around your body. Regular fit on the other hand does not have a fitted waist, but runs straight down. That's why T-shirts are often not fitted at the waist, at least not men's T-shirts, but jackets, for example, do have a fitted waist. This is often referred to as “modern fit”. Not too tight, but with a slightly tailored waist.

The clothing determines the “fit”

For a lot of garments, you'll want a tailored fits, provided it suits your body shape. Whether it's a modern fit or a tailored waist. You'll notice soon enough when you wear the garment. If it feels too tight, if you're having trouble doing up the buttons closed, even though you are wearing the right size, a tailored waist is not for you. And keep in mind that different manufacturers have a slightly different fit around the waist. This means that with some brands you simply cannot find anything to your liking, because it appears they have a customer in mind who meets certain measurement.
