We raved about the bamboo shirt for a long time, there's no doubt about that. But we also discovered a few drawbacks, which we were becoming increasingly disappointed with.

For example, bamboo shirts shrink a lot, much more than cotton does. And the quality of a bamboo shirt varies a lot, sometimes the fabric made from the bamboo fibre is better than the next lot.

In addition, bamboo does not retain its colour as well, so it fades after frequent washing. And it pills, this is especially true for bamboo T-shirts. And that doesn't help to ensure that your bamboo T-shirt stays beautiful for a long time.

So we felt that this could be improved on and with our knowledge and experience of the bamboo shirt we went in search of the next step: at least the same positive properties as a bamboo T-shirt, but without pilling, with much less shrinkage and a colour that stays beautiful.

Instead of bamboo, we use the world-renowned TENCEL™ and combined it with organic cotton, instead of standard cotton. The result is astonishing, the best fabric for T-shirts out there.
